A family cabin, built one weekend at a time.
From Dana and John
John built Serenity Lodge himself with the help of a few friends, mostly on weekends and days off from his construction job. The logs and framing came from a company in South Carolina, and nearly every piece of furniture inside came from his shop at home.
Our favorite is the 11-foot hickory dining table, where we've shared countless meals with family and friends.
Over the years, the cabin has hosted dozens of our son's friends, who always brought a special energy to the place. If these log walls could talk, they'd tell tales of friendship, laughter, bonding and the joy it has given so many people. Now we're happy to share it with you.
